Doctrinal Statement

We Believe:

  • in the verbal and plenary (complete) inspiration and preservation of the Scriptures and their accurate translation to the King James Version that is used today.  2 Pt. 1:21

  • in the literal interpretation of the Scriptures and that they should be preached and taught in their historical and grammatical context.  Neh. 8:8

  • in God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Rms. 8:14-17, Gal. 4:6

  • that God created in six literal twenty-four hour days.  Gen. 1

  • that all of creation since the fall of Adam and Eve is under the curse of sin and that no man can save himself and is thereby in need of a Saviour.  Rms. 5:12, I Cor.  15:22

  • that Christ died for the sins of every man and that salvation is by grace through faith and that man can not save himself.  Eph. 2:8-9, Titus 3:5
  • that man was created with a free will and that Salvation is attained by a choice of the will to believe on Christ and receive Him as your Saviour. Acts16:31, Rms. 10:9-10, I Cor. 1:21  
  • in the bodily resurrection of Christ and His ascension into heaven where He is now seated at the right hand of God making intercession for believers. Rms. 8:34, I Cor. 15:4
  • in the reality of heaven and hell and of the Judgement Seat of Christ and the Great White Throne Judgement.  Acts 1:10-11, 2 Pt. 2:4, I Cor. 3:11-15, Rms. 14:10, Rev. 20:11-15
  • in the eternal security of the believer and the eternal condemnation of the lost.  Eph. 1:13, I Pt. 1:5, Rev. 20:15, I Jn. 5:12 
  • that the local church is God’s divine institution in carrying out the Great Commission.  Matt. 28:18-20
  • in the Baptist’s distinctives and are Baptist by Biblical conviction.

  • in the pretribulational rapture of believers.  I Cor. 15:51-53, I Thess. 4:13-18
  • in the premillennial return and reign of Jesus Christ.  Rev. 19:11-13, 20:4
  • the obligation of every believer to be obedient to the scripture through submission and thereby live a life of sanctification.  Rms. 6:11-13, 2 Cor. 6:14-7:1
